about

I first fell in love with this beautiful song written by Kurt Weill when I was working with the Artie Shaw Orchestra, which was my first experience touring and playing for dances across the heartland of America, as well as overseas. This arrangement is written in a style that recalls the era when Artie Shaw was one of the most successful entertainers alive.
